Session and Committees As most Presbyterians no doubt know, "Session" is the name given to the governing body of each individual church. The Session of First Presbyterian Church meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month to discuss and decide issues concerning all aspects of church life including worship services, mission projects and new building issues. Fifteen Elders make up the Session and they are assigned to a committee and one of the Elders is the moderator for each committee. Additionally, we've included links to each of the seven committees that make up the Session Body. |
