Complete

1. Congregational Survey As part of the Mission Study, the congregation must be surveyed to get feedback from everyone.

2. Mission Study A Mission Study looks at the community and its needs. It identifies those places where we are or could be addressing the needs. It will help our church identify the kind of leadership it needs for the next step in ministry. The Session will appoint a committee charged to do that study using a process provided by the Presbytery. The congregation will have opportunities to be part of that process and to make your concerns and dreams known. (May 10, 2006)

Complete

3. Pastor Nominating Committee (PNC) is elected and
charged to bring a candidate for pastor to the congregation.  (October 1, 2006)

Complete

4. The PNC meets with a representative from the Presbytery's Committee on Ministry (COM) who reviews the process.  The PNC elects Co-moderator's, Recording Secretary and a Spiritual Director. (October 1, 2006)

Complete

5. 2006 Mission Study Report    (click on to access)
The final Mission Study report will then be approved by both the Session and the Presbytery's Committee on Ministry (COM). This Report will form part of the ongoing process of planning ministry, and will provide much of the information needed by the PNC to fill out the Church Information Form. As we go through this process, pray for the committee and for God's guidance as we continue the process of selecting a new Pastor. (October 18, 2006)
