Call the Church at 247-3175 if you would like to be involved in Small Group Ministry. For a number of years groups of 6-10 (or slightly more) persons have been meeting in homes for fellowship and study. The format is for the group to gather and share stories, share joys and concerns and just get to know each other better. An emphasis for these groups is on fellowship and mutual support so this time of sharing may vary in length. Usually after 15 minutes or so, a time of prayer begins the discussion period. Groups typically chose a book or Scripture lesson to discuss over a period of eight weeks meeting weekly. Often host responsibility is rotated from week to week and the host provides light snacks and coffee/soft drinks, etc. Meeting usually last 90 minutes ending with prayer and fellowship.
