In June, six men from the men's group at our church (Jim
Colvig, Bob Galbraith,
Roy Cook, Mike Davidson, Gordon Greve and Lee Campbell) spent several days at
the X Lazy F Ranch near Gunnison. They were readying the ranch for summer and
fall use by church groups and families.
The X Lazy F Ranch is owned by the Presbytery of Western Colorado and is
available for use by families, groups, and all of the Presbyterian churches of
western Colorado. The ranch facilities include a lodge, bath-house, pavilion,
and total sleeping capacity of 36-40 in nine sleeping cabins and a
self-contained bunkhouse. The main lodge contains a living room and den with a
double fireplace, dining room seating 30-36, a small bathroom and two kitchens.
