The Third Sunday After Pentecost
Bible Text: Matthew 10:24-39 | Preacher: Cathy Hamrick | Sermon Title: Gobsmacked
Scripture: Matthew 10:24-39
Gobsmacked is an adjective that means completely shocked/flabbergasted.
Often when I find myself feeling Gobsmacked, I turn to God and ask, “What is it you need for me to learn from this situation?”
Asking this question works better for me than reacting. Over the past few months, I have found myself completely Gobsmacked quite often and imagine that you too have been frustrated, angry, gobsmacked . . . at one time or another . . . When you find yourself in this place, try asking God, “What is it you need for me to learn from this situation?”
