Letter from Pastor John Welton

Dear Members and Friends,

This week we will be joined by the Rev. Jane Martinez in our pulpit. Originally from Iowa, she lived in Germany for years and served a congregation in New Mexico. Until recently she was the transitional/interim pastor at Calvary Presbyterian Church in Bayfield where she served for almost four years during and after the pandemic. In October she left that position since Bayfield has called an installed pastor.

We may remember her from the Presbytery’s church officer training events. She will be sharing scripture about hope in the future and fighting the good fight.

We welcome her once again to Durango.
